Preparation
- Dry the shrimp by patting them with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, coconut aminos, ginger, and lemon juice to make the sauce.
Cooking
- Warm oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through.
- Push shrimp to the side, add garlic to the empty spot, and stir for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Pour the sauce into the pan and toss shrimp for 30 to 60 seconds until glossy.
- Turn off the heat as the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with green onions and taste; add a pinch of salt if needed.
Notes
Prevent shrimp from overcooking by avoiding overcrowding the pan. Burnt garlic can alter the dish’s flavor, so add it later in the cooking process.
